"Stuttering" of somatic functitons
From Enpsychopedia
A tendency toward spastic psychophysical activity. It is observed as sudden blushing or growing pale, as pharyngeal spasms, or "stuttering" of urination. It is the manifestation of the transformation of very strong somatopsychic (q.v.) tension to spastic symptoms.
